On Friday, the Lamar Vikings kept a clean sheet against the Bowie Volunteers. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Volunteers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lamar.
Lamar now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Bowie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-3 record this season.
Lamar will be playing in front of their home fans against South Grand Prairie at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bowie, they will head out on the road to challenge Martin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martinpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bowie in Texas (Martin is ranked 114th, while Bowie is ranked 503rd).
