It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brazosport can now relate to. The game between the Brazosport Exporters and the LBJ Austin Jaguars didn't end well, with the Brazosport Exporters falling 80-66. The Exporters' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Ja shawn Waters, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 20 points and five steals for LBJ Austin. LBJ Austin is 14-1 when Waters posts three or more steals, but 9-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Antione Baker, who went 5-for-10 en route to 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Brazosport's loss dropped their record down to 22-12. As for LBJ Austin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season.

Brazosport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for LBJ Austin, they have already played their next matchup, a 43-42 victory against La Feria on the 28th.
