Basketball Recap: Santo Takes a Loss

Santo lost against Lipan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Santo Wildcats took a blow against the Lipan Indians, falling 69-40. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.

Santo has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Lipan, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hico the next time they take the court. Lipan will host Hico at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Santo will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on January 28th.
