Windham made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,031 from 10,027. The improvement was the result of 38-21 victory over East Lyme last week.
The Whippets led Eastern Connecticut - Medium in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Vikings.
Bacon Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nate Kozlowski has thrown for 175 yards and one touchdown this season, while Ryan Duclos has six catches for 95 yards. Aaron Stolzman leads the league in rushing with 41 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Bacon Academy takes on Montville. The Bobcats' offense has scored 20 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Indians have allowed only 51 on the year.
