After losing to Ottawa the last time they met, Tonganoxie decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chieftains walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cyclones on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chieftains.

Tonganoxie easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21.

Tonganoxie's win bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Ottawa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Tonganoxie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Eudora on the 27th. As for Ottawa, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Junction City on the 27th.
