Baseball Recap: Clay Blue Devils vs. Ponte Vedra Sharks

With a playoff game on the line, Clay rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Ponte Vedra Sharks. The high-scoring effort was just what Clay needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Easton McMahan was incredible, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Lukas Moore, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

On Ponte Vedra's side, they got a good showing from Aspen McAdoo, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Jack Brady and Austin O?Hara stepped up to the plate in a big way. Brady went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI, while O?Hara scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Hartman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
