Volleyball Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Comes Up Short

Fountain-Fort Carson saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Golden Demons by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Fountain-Fort Carson actually scored more points across those five sets (102-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 13-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Fountain-Fort Carson's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Golden, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Fountain-Fort Carson and Golden will both be playing Eagle Valley the next time they take the court. The Demons will head out to face the Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
