Chattanooga Prep had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They blew past the Overton Wolverines 60-40. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Chattanooga Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Demarion Bowman led the charge by going 5 for 11 on his way to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Bulis, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Overton had strong showings from Kevin Gladney, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 16 points, and Devion Murray, who had ten points and six rebounds.

Chattanooga Prep's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Overton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

Chattanooga Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-42 victory against Memphis East on the 4th. As for Overton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 91-33 loss against Dynamic Prep on the 3rd.
