Basketball Recap: Pell City Takes a Loss

Pell City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 71-58 to the Childersburg Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 54-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2018.

Pell City's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Childersburg, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pell City will square off against Pelham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Childersburg, they will face off against Altamont at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
