Waverly/South Shore came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers on Tuesday. The Coyotes not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

While Waverly/South Shore won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-5, 25-22.

Jaina Johnson paced Waverly/South Shore's offense, picking up ten kills. Johnson were helped by Marlie Riter and Clara Heuer, who contributed ten assists each. Brianna Gottschalk controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Waverly/South Shore's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah], they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
