The Northlake Christian Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Pope John Paul II Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. Pope John Paul II took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Northlake Christian, who comes in off a win.
Even though Springfield scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Northlake Christian still came out on top. Northlake Christian secured a 62-56 W over the Bulldogs. The victory was just what Northlake Christian needed coming off of a 89-46 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Pope John Paul II came up short against the Hawks on Tuesday and fell 53-43.
Northlake Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Pope John Paul II, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7.
Northlake Christian came up short against the Jaguars in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 51-39. Can Northlake Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
