Volleyball Recap: Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Takes a Loss

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic entered their contest against Centreville on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolves fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Centreville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Fredericksburg Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centreville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Justice on the 20th.
