Preview: Green Level Gators vs. Calvary Christian Warriors
The Green Level Gators and the Calvary Christian Warriors will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at. One thing working in Green Level's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Monday, Green Level's game was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over Riverside-Durham. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Green Level has scored all year.
Green Level's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trey Manhertz led the charge by scoring 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Trevor Manhertz, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian pushed their score all the way to 55 last Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 71-55 to Mitchell.
Green Level pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Calvary Christian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-6 record last season and are now at 3-5.
