Volleyball Recap: North Branch Broncos vs. Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Branch can now relate to. They fell just short of the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Broncos have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

North Branch started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 20-25, 25-18, 27-25, 15-6.

Even though they lost, North Branch was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Detroit Country Day only served seven.
