Volleyball Game Preview: Hillside Hornets vs. Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs

The Hillside Hornets will head out on the road to square off against the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hillside lost 3-0 to NCSSM: Durham on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-19, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Durham School of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Triangle Math & Science.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13.

Durham School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hillside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Hillside suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Durham School of the Arts in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
