Basketball Recap: Cape Elizabeth Takes a Loss

Cape Elizabeth lost against Mountain Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cape Elizabeth Capers lost 44-22 to the Mountain Valley Falcons. The Capers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cape Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mountain Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

When Cape Elizabeth and Mountain Valley next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cape Elizabeth will try to stop Leavitt's three-game winning streak when the meet at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mountain Valley will try to stop Poland's four-game winning streak when the meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
