Baseball Recap: Belleville Comes Up Short

Belleville fell victim to Churchill and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Chargers. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Belleville dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Churchill, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

While Belleville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
