Softball Recap: Trimble County's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Trimble County came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Henry County Wildcats, falling 12-4. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 14-9 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Savannah Oldson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trimble County fell to 3-1. As for Henry County, they moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Trimble County has already played their next contest, a 22-8 victory against Shelby County on the 28th. As for Henry County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Trimble County on the 29th.
