Baseball Game Preview: B O L D Warriors vs. West Central Area Knights

The B O L D Warriors will face off against the West Central Area Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. B O L D hasn't scored more than two runs for five games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

B O L D might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-2 to Benson, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times West Central Area and Brandon/Evansville have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Knights came up short against the Chargers, falling 11-3. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Central Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colon Dostal, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

West Central Area now has a losing record of 1-2. As for B O L D, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

B O L D took their victory against West Central Area when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
