Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Joseph's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Washington Generals on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost five in a row.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Washington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Coming up, St. Joseph will square off against Manchester Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph will need to watch out since Manchester Academy has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Washington, they will head out on the road to challenge DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Washington is facing DeSoto at the right time seeing as DeSoto is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
