Recap: Imperial Tigers vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles
There's no place like home for the Imperial Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 59-52 victory over Tri-City Christian on Saturday.
It was another big night for David Scariano, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marc Vitela, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Imperial's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Tri-City Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9.
Imperial will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Calexico is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season. As for Tri-City Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Caimans at 7:00 p.m. Classical Academy is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
