Basketball Recap: DeWitt Takes a Loss

DeWitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 60-39 to the East Lansing Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Trojans are ranked ninth).

DeWitt's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for East Lansing, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeWitt will welcome Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Lansing, they will host Holt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
