Century has gone a perfect 10-0 against Joppa-Maple Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Century Centurions will head out to take on the Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers at 6:00 p.m.

Last Monday, Century was beaten by Frankfort 65-23. While losing is never fun, the Centurions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 631st, while the Redbirds are ranked 287th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Joppa-Maple Grove). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Varsity Opponent on Monday, sneaking past 43-40.

Joppa-Maple Grove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-16. As for Century, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Century took their victory against Joppa-Maple Grove in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 47-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Century since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
