Plant kept a clean sheet against Jefferson on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Jefferson Dragons. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Jefferson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Charlie Sansone led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Plant is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six matches. As for Jefferson, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Plant and Newsome will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
