Sam Hans was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds for Lake Country Lutheran. Hans hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Carter Leibham, who scored 15 points along with five assists.
Kingdom Prep Lutheran's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lake Country Lutheran, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.
Kingdom Prep Lutheran will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Heritage Christian at 7:15 p.m. Heritage Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,227 points over their last 15 matchups. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they will head out on the road to challenge Catholic Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Catholic Central has now lost 16 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
