Preview: Tuscumbia Lions vs. Belle Tigers
The Tuscumbia Lions will square off against the Belle Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tuscumbia has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
Last Thursday, Tuscumbia lost to Calvary Lutheran at home by a decisive 57-40 margin.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Belle were a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were beaten by Lebanon 49-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Belle has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Tuscumbia's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Belle, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Tuscumbia might still be hurting after the 61-36 loss they got from Belle when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Tuscumbia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
