Basketball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Evangel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-2 loss at the hands of the Natchitoches Central Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Chiefs are ranked ninth).

Evangel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Natchitoches Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Evangel Christian Academy will face off against Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Natchitoches Central has already played their next match (against Zwolle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
