Football Recap: Brusly Falls Short of West Feliciana in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brusly couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the West Feliciana Saints by a score of 27-24 on Friday. The Panthers were up 24-7 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

When it comes to explaining why Brusly lost, don't look at Patrick Gales. Despite the final result, he rushed for 62 yards and two TDs.

Brusly moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. As for West Feliciana, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
