Orem hadn't done well against Snow Canyon recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Orem was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-15.

When it comes to explaining why Snow Canyon lost, don't look at Solaya Barker-Winton. Despite the final result, she had 12 assists and nine digs. Barker-Winton is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Chaylee Andrews also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Orem's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Snow Canyon, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.
