Baseball Game Preview: South Allegheny Gladiators vs. East Allegheny Wild Cats

For the second straight game, South Allegheny will face off against East Allegheny. The Gladiators will take on the Wild Cats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

South Allegheny is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over East Allegheny on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Gladiators needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Josh Nesky was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season. Mason Campano was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

South Allegheny hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Allegheny struck out 13 times.

East Allegheny's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Allegheny, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.
