Basketball Recap: Micah Carpenter and Jamarcus Lewis Secure Win for Ridgeland + How To Watch

Ridgeland won the last time they faced Oakwood Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers took down the Eagles 76-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Leading Ridgeland to victory were Jamarcus Lewis and Micah Carpenter. Lewis dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten assists, while Carpenter went 8-for-15 en route to 18 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Lewis a new career-high in rebounds (eight). Stryker Harden was another key player, putting up six points along with five assists and three steals.

Ridgeland's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oakwood Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Ridgeland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-47 loss against Ringgold on the 22nd. As for Oakwood Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-50 defeat against Bradley Knights on the 20th.
