Basketball Recap: Grand Forks Central Takes a Loss

Grand Forks Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 67-50 fall against the Fargo Davies Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Eagles are ranked 17th).

Grand Forks Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Fargo Davies, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Coming up, Grand Forks Central will head out to face off against West Fargo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grand Forks Central is facing West Fargo at the right time seeing as West Fargo is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fargo Davies, they will take on Fargo South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fargo South has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with 17 straight losses, while Fargo Davies will come in with three straight victories.
