Mize's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 40-33 victory over the Taylorsville Tartars. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Tartars back in November, they had to take a 49-36 loss.

Mize has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Taylorsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Mize and Taylorsville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Mize sees the court they'll take on Bay Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Taylorsville, their break will end when they face Stringer at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
