Meanwhile, Hart was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Canyon 42-6. With the Hawks ahead 28-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Valencia better keep an eye on Jacob Paisano. He was instrumental in Hart's win, rushing for 154 yards and three TDs on only six carries, while also throwing for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Those 154 rushing yards gave Paisano a new career-high. Matix Frithsmith was another key player, gaining 185 total yards and a touchdown.

Hart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 325 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Valencia's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Hart, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Valencia against Hart when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-14 victory. In that game, the Vikings amassed a halftime lead of 27-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
