Beloit won the last time they faced Lyons and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Beloit took both sets by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6.

Brecken Boudreaux paced Beloit's offense, picking up six kills. Boudreaux got some help from Colbi Stroede and her 12 assists. Boudreaux also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addyson Channell, each putting up two.

Beloit's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Lyons, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's still a better percentage than their 5-25 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beloit beat Lyons by a score of 2-0 later that day.
