Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Takes a Loss

Cornerstone was the 46-28 winner over Westminster School at Oak Mountain when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cornerstone Eagles took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights on Tuesday.

Cornerstone's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Cornerstone will head out on the road to square off against Center Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cornerstone is facing Center Point at the right time seeing as Center Point is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Westminster School at Oak Mountain has already played their next matchup (against Vincent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
