If Superior wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sutton, they should've done a better job of containing Kyla Griess. The Mustangs came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Griess, who had 16 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Despite the defeat, Superior saw an underclassman step up: freshman Paityn Blauvelt had seven digs and two aces.

Sutton's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Superior, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-23.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Sutton and Nebraska Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Superior, they will face off against Sandy Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
