Preview: Vintage vs. Lincoln
On Friday, Vintage are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lincoln at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Vintage had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 27-18 win over Acalanes. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (21) and coasted on those for the win.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 12-49, which was the final score in Lincoln's tilt against Pitman last Friday. Lincoln were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-28.
Vintage's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Lincoln's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Vintage can add another positive mark to their record or if Lincoln can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Vintage's step.
