            General Brown lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Watertown, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's   match. The Lions never let the Cyclones get on the board and left with  a   30-0  win  on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four games by nine  runs or more  so far this season.

 Carlee Hamilton and  Raegan Burgenstock made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Hamilton   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Burgenstock   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. At bat,  Hamilton  went 3-for-5 with three  stolen bases, five  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Burgenstock  got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. With that strong performance,  Hamilton is now averaging an impressive 2.3  runs per game.
 In other batting news,  Leah Chisamore was a standout: she got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with four  runs, five  RBI,  and one  triple. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Emma Lavarnway, who  got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI.
 General Brown  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .727. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
General Brown's victory  ended  an  eight-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 4-3. As for Watertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. General Brown will square off against Thousand Islands at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Watertown, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Carthage  at 4:30  p.m.
