Soccer Game Preview: Gonzaga Prep vs. Central Valley

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups will head out on the road to challenge the Central Valley Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, neither Gonzaga Prep nor Mt. Spokane could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Central Valley kept a clean sheet against Ridgeline on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

With that draw, Gonzaga Prep's record moves to 0-2-2. As for Central Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Gonzaga Prep came up short against Central Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 4-2. Can Gonzaga Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
