Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Illiana Christian). They put the hurt on the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles with a sharp 80-57 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Illiana Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Lake Station Edison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
