Basketball Recap: Bronx High School of Science Takes a Loss

Bronx High School of Science lost against Truman back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bronx High School of Science Wolverines lost 55-31 to the Truman Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Mustangs are ranked 167th).

This is the second loss in a row for Bronx High School of Science and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Truman, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Bronx High School of Science will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbus at 4:30 p.m. on January 28th. Truman has already played their next game, a 50-34 loss against Rosedale Christian Academy on the 19th.
