Bishop Grimes came out on top against Bishop Ludden on Sunday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Cobras walked away with a 14-11 win over the Gaelic Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 27-7 back in April.

Bishop Grimes got a massive performance out of Myla Pankow, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Rainbow Butler, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Bishop Grimes' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bishop Ludden, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Bishop Grimes will host Weedsport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop Ludden, they will head out on the road to challenge Port Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Gaelic Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
