Volleyball Recap: Danika Hernandez Key Part of Team Effort in Bobcats Win

Edinburg picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the East Central Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Edinburg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danika Hernandez, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Edinburg's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for East Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edinburg will head out to take on Vela at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Central, they will square off against San Antonio Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
