Basketball Recap: Jamestown Comes Up Short on the Road Against Laurel

Jamestown had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 83-16 loss at the hands of the Laurel Spartans.

Jamestown's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danner Babcock, who posted six points.

Laurel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Jamestown has already played their next game, a 44-34 victory against Reynolds on the 4th. As for Laurel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 51-35 loss against Riverside on the 6th.
