Volleyball Recap: Weston Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Weston lost against Joel Barlow back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Falcons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-17.

Joel Barlow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Val Amador out in front who had seven digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Zoriana Olexy, who had seven digs and three aces.

Weston's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5-1. As for Joel Barlow, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Weston will square off against Masuk at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Joel Barlow, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pomperaug on the 21st.
