Softball Recap: Maple River Comes Up Short

Maple River has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.67 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Giants earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Maple River's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple River will venture away from home to take on Lisbon at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, they will head out to square off against Sibley East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
