Volleyball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Mumford Mustangs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-8, 25-14.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mumford, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 19-13 record.

Centerville and Mumford could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Centerville (ranked 1304th) will meet Bremond (ranked 565th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mumford will take on Iola at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (664 vs. 114).
