Softball Recap: AuSable Valley Patriots vs. Moriah Vikings
There's no place like home for AuSable Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the Moriah Vikings on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what AuSable Valley needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
AuSable Valley got a big performance out of Annika LaMountain, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Stanley, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
AuSable Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Moriah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
AuSable Valley will be playing at home against Northeastern Clinton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Moriah, they will head out on the road to take on Saranac at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
