Basketball Recap: Orange Lutheran Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. John Bosco, Orange Lutheran was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Frontier Titans with a 51-46 win. While the Lancers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

When it comes to explaining why Frontier lost, don't look at Zach Garnett. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. The contest was Garnett's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kai Wilkins, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Orange Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Frontier, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Orange Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-45 loss against Bishop Montgomery on the 27th. As for Frontier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-54 defeat against Liberty on the 27th.
